Badger Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer small animal chiropractic services from Janesville's own, Dr. Margo Nolte. Dr. Nolte graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1989.  She practiced in South Milwaukee for 5 years before moving to Janesville to open a chiropractic office with her husband. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Nolte has focused primarily on the health needs of humans while helping small animals with their chiropractic needs in her spare time. Recently she has decided to devote more time to the treatment of animals and now has regular office hours here at Badger.

How do you know if chiropractic care can help your pet? Here are a few of the many red flags to look for that may suggest a visit to Dr. Nolte: changes in their gait or the way they walk; slips, falls or injuries to the body; sudden changes in behavior, such as irritability or lethargy; shaking, crying or hiding; excessive licking at the same area; poor control of urination. All of these symptoms relate to the Skeletal, Nervous and Muscular systems in the body.

The chiropractic patients that Dr. Nolte sees need to have a veterinary referral. When your veterinarian (or one of our own) refers your pet for Dr. Nolte's services as a new client, the cost of the consultation visit is $79.15. After that visit, depending on the adjustments and/or the anatomy of the patient that needs attention, the cost varies from $58.90 to $77.15. If your pet has radiographs from a previous veterinary visit that would be relative to the injury or area that Dr. Nolte would be treating, we ask that you please bring them with you.

Of the many patients that Dr. Nolte has cared for here at Badger since she started, every one of their owners have reported slight to significant improvement and life style changes in their pets.  If you have any specific questions for Dr. Nolte, or would like to contact her, please call her at 754-1888 or you can email her at mnolte@badgervet.com
