Nancy Spaulding
Practice Manager
Nancy works as the office manager for
Badger. She and her husband, Dr. Spaulding,
have been with the practice since 1991. They
have 2 children, Justin and Sara, who are both
very active in sports, which also keeps Nancy
and Dr. Spaulding busy! Nancy is an avid
horse enthusiast, particularily American
Saddlebreds.Their family also has two German
Shepherds that reside with them in Milton.
Josette Stiegman
Client Care Coordinator
Jo joined Badger in January of 2003 as the
client care coordinator. She is the team
leader for the client support staff.
Jo, her husband R.J., and their
two children live in Janesville with their
two cats, fish, and turtles. Outside of the
clinic, Jo is an active volunteer at St. Pauls
Lutheran School, and devotes her time and
energy to her kids when she's not at work.
April Cazy
Operator, Client Services Coordinator
April joined the Badger staff in February of 2007.
She has her dog Kenny, along with
three cats and two ferrets. April serves as
the operator in client support. She enjoys football
and spending time with her family and friends.
Kelly Schroeder
Operator, Client Services Coordinator
Kelly graduated from Craig High School in '08
and has become an active member on both our
large animal and small animal staff since January
of 2007. She is currently attneding UW-Madison
to pursue her pre-veterinary education.
She hopes to one day be an Equine Veterinarian,
specializing in lameness. Kelly currently resides in
Janesville with her two dogs and two cats.
Kristine Combs
Small Animal Vet Assistant/Client Support
Kristine works Saturdays as both an
assistant and a client support staff member.
She shares a home with her husband Chad
and two sons Mitchell and Matt. Don't forget
about the dogs!! Kristine enjoys baking (and
is darn good at it!) and cooking, as well as
walking the dogs when the weather lets her!
We wish Kristine could be here more often!
Amy Ziegelmann
Client Services Coordinator
Badger Vet welcomed Amy on board in
March of 2010. She lives in Janesville,
has 3 kids, a dog and 2 cats. She loves
animals, and has worked in the veterinary
field for 5 years. In her spare time, she loves
to be on the water either boating or fishing.
She admits she isn't great at it, but she also
enjoys golfing when she can!
Nikole Havens
Client Services Coordinator
Nikole has worked in the veterinary profession
for nearly 6 years, being hired recently at
Badger. She acquired her CVT license in
August of 2010. Nikole enjoys pet sitting and
working with animals in different settings,
which helps her enjoy her work days at the
nearby doggy day care. In her spare time, Nikole
enjoys music and swimming. She resides in
Edgerton with her fiance and three cats.
Sue Schumacher
Marketing/Public Relations
Sue joined Badger Veterinary Hospital in March
of 2011 as a Client Support member. Her
role now is Marketing and Public Relations for
both the Janesville and Cambridge hospitals as
well as Client Support. Sue’s background is in
marketing/public relations and management in
the non-profit industry with the majority
of her time at Forward Janesville and Rotary Gardens.
In her spare time, Sue is actively involved in
various non-profit organizations and creative projects
at her home in Milton. Sue loves animals and people.
She has three daughters, two dogs, six horses and cats.
