joined Badger Veterinary Hospital in June 2016. She started out working in our Janesville boarding facility part-time while finishing her veterinary technician program. She is now working full-time as a technician in Beloit and will be taking the Veterinary Technician National Examination for her certification.

Liz has been riding horses since she was 6 years old and still does to this day. "I try and treat every animal like I would want my own pets to be treated in the same situations, and I also like to treat clients like I would want to be treated."

When she's not at work, Liz spends time with her family, which includes her daughter Ella, boyfriend Garrett, and fur-children: pug McKenzie, cat Fiasco, and Mayder, her American Saddlebred. Liz and Ella enjoy spending summers out at the barn with Mayder. Liz's long-term goal is to foster elderly animals, giving them the most comfortable life possible.

Practice Location: Beloit

Interesting things about Liz..

  • Liz has been horseback riding for the past 18 years.
  • She loves to sew and make horse saddlepads and polos; Also horseback riding & teaching.
  • Liz can use either hand when asked to draw blood, and will often switch from one to the other.
  • Ella, her daughter is the reason she got into the field.
I love that working with Badger is a constant learning experience with the different technicians and veterinarians.
