has a long career in veterinary medicine. She graduated from Walter Reed Army Institute of Research with a certificate in veterinary animal health. She has worked in private practice, academia, and at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and Wisconsin National Primate Research Center. She had been with Country View Animal Hospital for over 19 years before it became part of Badger Veterinary Hospital.

Victoria and her husband have four adult children, a Border Collie rescue named Lucky, a Boston Terrier named Abby, and two cats, Greta and Lulu, both rescues.

Outside of work, Victoria volunteers at Three Gaits therapeutic riding facility. Also notable is that Victoria was the first veterinary technician in Wisconsin to be recognized as a veterinary technician specialist in lab animal medicine through NAVTA.

Practice location: Beloit

Interesting things about Vicki...

  • Graduated from Walter Reed Army Institute of Research as a VAHT (Veterinary Animal Health Technician) in 1978.  Became a CVT (Credentialed Veterinary Technician) in Wisconsin in 1988 and acquired my VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in Lab Animal Research Anesthesia in 2016.
  • Vicki works full time with Non-human Primates and has have trained multiple people from around the world, primate anesthesia.  Including, going to China three times to train and oversee staff at a primate facility in Nanning for a Parkinson’s project.
  • She enjoys kayaking, traveling, horseback riding, football and family!
  • In 2001 when she was the President of the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician Association and suffered a very traumatic horseback riding accident that took about 2 years of rehab to get back on her feet.  She crushed a vertebrae, fractured her ankle, hand, ribs and my head.  Yes, she still rides!
Badger Veterinary Hospital invests in their employee’s careers, wellness and continuing education.  This is a part time job for me and gives me the opportunity to see clients and their pets and to learn the up to date practices that are ever changing.  I have dedicated 39 years of my life working with animals in a career that I can honestly say I love everyday!
