Dr. Bidlingmaier
Dr. Grace Bidlingmaier grew up in Winslow, a small town on the Illinois-Wisconsin border. Raised on a farm and surrounded by animals from an early age, she developed a passion for animal care that inspired her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Grace expanded her global perspective through environmental research in the Galápagos Islands and pre-veterinary studies in Panama.
Dr. Grace received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Throughout veterinary school, she especially enjoyed rotations in anesthesia, equine medicine, dentistry, and ophthalmology. One of her most rewarding clinical experiences was completing a rotation at Badger Veterinary Hospital, where she was able to further develop her skills while working alongside a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. She also traveled to Greece to practice shelter medicine, providing medical care and support for local stray animal populations.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Grace enjoys traveling with her fiancé, reading, embroidering, and spending time with her three cats. She is excited to combine her lifelong love of animals with compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for her patients and their families.
